Summer ’13 Cutthroatpete Tshirt

I have been doing some research over the last month, I was ready to release my second Cutthroatpete tshirt and i wanted it to be a nice mix of my interests mixed with my logo. I love that Camo had become really popular this year in high fashion brands. I have always liked to throw some camouflage into what im wearin so i thought it would be awesome to use it on my next tshirt. I didnt want to narrow my audience by using a full camo tshirt so i decided to reverse the design and have my logo printed in camo onto a plain white tshirt. It really stands out and ha sparked an even wider interest into my brand. The other tshirt i will be releasing is an olive green coloured tshirt with a black logo, i feel like this keeps in line with my military influence for the Summer ’13 T’s!! I really hope everyone likes the new design. I am so excited to be wearing them myself. Thanx for all the massive support from people who have purchased the Signature Cutthroatpete tshirts, the pictures really are cool. I hope to get loads more pics of the new tshirts in some cool places!

I would like to start this short blog by thanking everybody for their support with the launch of my brand. I am extremely grateful and humbled by the interest everybody is showing in my tshirts, I have more products to be released really soon and I look forward to seeing more people wearing my logo and spreading the word.

Last week, Wayne Rooney, a good customer and friend of mine, posted a picture of himself on his twitter in one of my tshirts. This sparked a massive interest in my brand and i have been inundated with orders.

A lot of my customers have been sharing pictures of themselves in Cutthroatpete tshirts on Instagram and twitter and this has been great for me to have the oppurtunity to repost theses pictures and show others how happy people are with their purchase.

I have also gained a massive amount of followers on twitter this week. I would like to thank all my followers new and old for helping me promote myself.

I have a column in the Summer issue of Open magazine which is a massive magazine in Liverpool, its only been around for coming on a year but they already have a massive following and I am so happy to be able to work with them and for them giving me the opportunity to write for them.

The essence of a good haircut.

A haircut should make a man feel confident. Guys should be able to apply a recommended product to their hair and create the look they want after they have left the shop. A mans haircut should look good right up until his next visit to the barbershop.
Good haircuts should fit the owner perfectly, it should fit into their lifestyle and if needed, be able to look smart for daytime/work and more styled and edgy for evenings. The right haircut for you can change the appearance of you’re hair and make it look less thick/thin and lifeless.

The perfect haircut is one that involves input from both the gentleman and the barber.

I was talking to a mate before christmas and he was asking how I actually came up with the name ‘Cutthroatpete. He was saying how cool and relevant the name was and suggested I should build my brand around it. I had been interested in doing this for some time, but when this guy suggested it, I thought, Why not?!

I was talking to my customers about it and one in particular recommended his mate to me, we met up a few times and our ideas were pretty much excactly the same. I left him to get to work on it and he ended up producing my logo. It is absolutely perfect, it contains everything I wanted it to and is better than i actually imagined it would be.

When I was thinking of creating a logo, I thought it would be a great idea to produce some tshirts. Robbie, who designed my logo, mocked up some tshirts for me with the logo on and they looked the bollocks!! So… I am currently working with a printer who is the best at his job, and he has advised me what brand of tshirts to use etc. I am having some samples delivered to me tomorrow, so hopefully i will be able to put my first order in over the next few days. I have had loads of requests for tshirts already so, hopefully Cutthroatpete will get everywhere!!

I have loads more ideas for products etc, hopefully these will be developed as soon as possible, now that my logo is sorted, it should all be moving along quick.

I am going to release the signature tshirt first, but there are lots more designs to follow. I will keep my brand fresh, with new designs and products being released regularly.

This is my first tshirt that will be released…

I am hoping to get the tshirts sent all over the world, i have requests from as far as America and New Zealand already.

One of my best mates is going on a year long trip around the world, he will be trading haircuts for everything and anything that will help him continue his journey. I am glad to be a part of his promotional video. It verifies to me that my passion for barbering is also shared by alot of other barbers worldwide, Its not just a job, its a way of life…
